String Closet began in 2020 when Chinenye, inspired by her grandmother's crochet teachings, decided to merge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary fashion. Growing up in Nigeria, she was surrounded by rich textiles and intricate handwork, which deeply influenced her design aesthetic.
